CroBurger is Prague's first walk-in-only burger restaurant with the engineered two-tone Kron Croissant bun, inside MeatEater Steak & Wine at Vejvodova 8, Old Town. Open Tue–Sun 11:30 AM–4:00 PM, up to 100 pieces a day (quota published online every morning). CroBurger is a new project founded in 2026: it has no awards of its own yet — the awards listed on this site belong to MeatEater Steak & Wine, which hosts it. No reservations.
The Bun
The Two-Tone Kron Croissant
Not an ordinary bun: a croissant made from two doughs — traditional golden and ruby red — designed by SCA European Champion Daniele Govoni to embrace a premium patty and never surrender.
Every Kron Croissant is hand-laminated each morning. The perfect honeycomb crumb traps the meat juices and the crust stays crispy to the very last bite. It is the only bun in the world designed for the meat first, and for the bread second.
Two-tone
Two doughs, golden and ruby red, laminated together into 48 layers.
Engineered
A structure designed to hold the patty: never soggy, never falling apart.
Baked every morning
Fresh daily lamination and baking in our laboratory, always before 11:30 AM.

The daily quota changes from day to day: every morning we publish it online — on our social channels and in this live counter. On peak days, a maximum of 100 pieces: 80 in the dining room (22 seats, walk-in only) and 20 for delivery via Wolt/Bolt Food.

Every CroBurger is assembled to order. No pass, no waiting under heat lamps: the meat travels from grill to table within minutes.
Freshness
100 pieces, never 101. A Kron Croissant baked in the morning never sees the next day. When they're gone, they're gone.
Fairness
No booked tables, no special treatment. First come, first served. The pavement queue is our only reservation system: democratic and transparent.
